Prof. Dr. Erik Kerševan Appointed Secretary General of the Constitutional Court
The judges of the Constitutional Court have at an administrative session on 28 January 2010 appointed Prof. Dr. Erik Kerševan as Secretary General of the Court. The new Secretary General will assume office on 1 February 2010.

The tasks of the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court include the coordination of all services of the Secretariat as well as the management and organisation of their work. In relation to the employees of the Legal Advisory Department, the Analysis and International Cooperation Department, the Documentation and Information Technology Department, and the Office of the Registrar, the Secretary General has the position of head of a state authority. In addition to that, the Secretary General also represents the Court in matters outside judicial proceedings within the limits of his or her competence or within the limits authorised by the President of the Court.
