Upon the invitation of the Human Rights Ombudsman Peter Svetina, President Dr Matej Accetto met with him and the President of the Court of Audit Jana Ahčin on 10 August 2022. They discussed the position and cooperation of the institutions they are leading, exchanged their views, at the general level, on topical issues concerning respect for human rights and democratic values, and touched upon the thus far unimplemented decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the financial autonomy of independent state institutions.
